The Chortle Student Comedy Awards are back in 2023 as we resume our search for the next biggest name in Comedy!

Previous winners of this prestigious award include Joe Lycett, Jamali Maddix, Ed Gamble, Chris Ramsey, Laura Lexx, Iain Stirling, Simon Bird, Tom Rosenthal and Comedy in Your alumni, Erika Ehler.

The semi-finals of the Chortle Student Comedy Award are to be held at the Bloomsbury Theatre in London on April 27 (tickets) and May 9 (tickets).

Three comedians, who have performed with us, were succesful in their heats and are competing for a spot in the final! Here they are below:

Muhsin Yesilada - Winner of the second London Heat

Jin Hao Li - Winner of the St Andrews Heat

Ollie Fox - London Wildcard
