Comedy Virgins announce that Hugh Peacocke has won this year's Max Turner Prize.
Comedian Hugh Peacocke romped to victory last night, in the 2023 Grand Final of the Max Turner Prize.
Hugh saw off stiff competition that included Jake O'Brien Murphy, Al Jarrett, Ollie Reyhart, Ibrahim Sesai, Matthew Ali, Archit Goenka, Phil Henderson and Marty Gleeson, who have all graced the Comedy in Your Eye Stage.
2nd and 3rd place went to Carwyn Blayney and Rohan Sharma, who are also both regular performers down the Camden Eye.
The night took place at the Cavendish Arms in Stockwell, London, the home of the popular new act night, Comedy Virgins and was hosted by Hannah Byczkowski, who won big on BBC 1's hit 2022 show, The Traitors.
