This summer, visitors are invited to the free-to-enter Official Team GB King’s Cross Fanzone, where they can enjoy live coverage of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games on a large screen. The event offers a chance for everyone to join the crowds in cheering on Team GB’s athletes as they compete for Olympic glory.


In addition to watching the sporting action on the big screen, attendees can experience live DJ sets, participate in Olympic-themed activities, and enjoy a diverse programme of onstage entertainment. Highlights include Q&As and medal celebrations with Team GB’s returning athletes. The celebration of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will take place at Lewis Cubitt Square within the Team GB Olympic Fanzone.



Camden South Asian Heritage Month

Camden is celebrating South Asian Heritage Month with a vibrant series of events that highlight the traditions, arts, and contributions of the borough’s South Asian communities.

Running until August 17, South Asian Heritage Month provides an opportunity for everyone to come together to honour and celebrate the rich history and cultural heritage of South Asia.


As part of the celebrations, Camden will host a range of activities, including a lively community festival featuring dance, music, and food. The month’s festivities will culminate with the ‘Regents Roots Festival’ on August 3, held around Drummond Street.


Councillor Sabrina Francis, Cabinet Member for Young People and Culture, shared, “This year’s South Asian Heritage Month is a collaborative effort with cultural organizations and the community, aiming to educate and inspire a deeper understanding of Camden's diversity. South Asians have significantly enriched British culture through their contributions in music, dance, and food, and this celebration offers a chance to recognize these invaluable contributions. I encourage everyone in Camden to participate and experience the events we have planned.”
