Camden Inspire Street Festival


The Camden Inspire Street Festival is a free event that takes place over two streets in Camden Town. It's a great opportunity to experience the borough's creative talent with a day of live music, art, activities, and workshops. 


The festival is curated by Camden music venues including the Roundhouse, Green Note, and Fiddlers Elbow. There will also be street art, spoken word performances, and delicious food and drinks. This year's festival will take place on Saturday, September 7th from 12-10pm on Buck Street and Stucley Place.


Get ready to groove to the beats of Camden-based Dig It Soundsystem, headliner Rebecca Vasmant (a DJ who blends jazz, West-African rhythms, and techno), the cutting-edge sounds of Krin, and the soulful voice of local R&B singer Milli Rose Rubin.


Witness the magic as street artists create a vibrant masterpiece right before your eyes on Buck Street. Immerse yourself in the rhythm of Brazilian drumming with Centro Cultural Senzala, learn circus skills from the Roundhouse, or try your hand at clay pottery with Mayhap Studio. There's something for everyone with a range of free or subsidised workshops from the Working Men's College, Creative Health Camden, The Badge Cafe, London School of Mosaic, and The Place.


Indulge in delicious food and drinks from 3 Locks Beer, Mildreds, Pinky, Philly Philly Steak, and Dumpling Pimps, among others.


Don't miss the chance to see the street artists from Camden Open Air Gallery create a new public art collection live on Buck Street. And be sure to catch the spoken word stage Speaker Corner, featuring a lineup of talented poets including Glastonbury performer Rohan Samuel, British-Moroccan writer Nayma Chamchoun, and spoken word activist Sami Rhymes.

The Wild Things

Olympics in Camden Town 2024

Watch the Paralympics in the Team GB Fan Zone


This summer, visitors are invited to the free-to-enter Official Team GB King’s Cross Fanzone, where they can enjoy live coverage of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games on a large screen. The event offers a chance for everyone to join the crowds in cheering on Team GB’s athletes as they compete for Paralympic glory.


In addition to watching the sporting action on the big screen, attendees can experience live DJ sets, participate in Paralympic-themed activities, and enjoy a diverse programme of onstage entertainment. Highlights include Q&As and medal celebrations with Team GB’s returning athletes. The celebration of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games will take place at Lewis Cubitt Square within the Team GB Olympic Fanzone.
